So why do people think that individuals who support healthcare and free education are lazy making poor financial options? My loved ones is recognized as middle-class and until it had been made illegal to plain deny an individual medical care coverage, my loved ones made money to obtain financial aid despite the fact that my parents are 30,000 dollars indebted due to her student financial loans and much more for hospital bills. My mother did not make poor financial options. She required responsibility on her actions through getting employment on and on to college so she could better support me however she’s means by debt so we need to sell our home. My parents make money that i can get educational funding for school but they’re too indebted to pay for for this. I spend considerable time using for jobs but it’s impossible to locate work nowadays. Should you think the battling middle-class is lazy then you’re wrong. What you do not know is that we’re stuck inside a financial limbo because of insurance and crappy financial loans which were intended to be advantageous.

You’re right, i do not really mean free but cheaper. And everybody should pay for this since it is free for everybody. And when everybody pays then it’s cheaper people these days may wish to visit college that is a positive thing. And why must individuals who can not afford healthcare need to suffer? It is not fair.

To begin with, the crappy financial loans were college financial loans. They’d nothing related to our home. Second, the RV my parents have is really a thirty year old jayco that my parents exchanged for any sterio system and that we don’t own other things like this. Our cars were bought very used and also the only reason we have money worries is due to hospital bills and crappy COLLEGE financial loans.

Ok, in a few months, me and 4 other guys from Scotland are going on road trip from Sacramento, CA to east coast for just under 2 months. We have about a few thousand pounds each and route planned more or less. However, we were wondering about a few things:
    1) Is it worth going out of our way to visit Atlanta, GA?
    2) Is £3500 each enough money, excluding flights.
    3) Should we rent a Hertz car or buy an old cheap car for less?
    4) Once we get to Florida, should we go south and finish in Miami or go North and finish in NYC?
    5) Would it be cheaper to buy a cheap RV and save on hotel costs?
    6) How will us Scots be seen in America? Do Americans like Scottish guys?

    -Thanks!

I’ve never been to the US. I never really thought of going there until last year. I’ve visited many cities around the world, and I consider myself to be a city person. But I’ve never really been interested in visiting the metropolitan areas in the US (although I’m sure they’re fabulous). I’ve always been interested in native American lands, and road trips in a caravan. Is that crazy? I see that a lot in movies and it’s almost like you can’t do that stuff anywhere else.

I hear there are plenty of caravan parks – are they places you can live in overnight with your caravan?

How much will I need for a holiday like this (per person), if I am in the US for about 3 weeks?

    Thanks! 🙂
Thank you Nola & Kanien for your answers, I really appreciate them. Don’t worry Kanien, I won’t touch anyone, haha. I am actually just interested to see the nature & lands. I’m sure the native Americans have integrated into the modern Western world. I really don’t want to go there and offend anyone, that’s not my intention. I do intend to follow all the rules, and just have a good time exploring. 🙂

    Hi,

We are Australian citizens and are wanting to travel America next year, I am unsure as to how long we would be able to stay for our holiday.

How long are you able to holiday in America for on a B-2 visa?

Is there any other visa i can get that would allow us to travel there for longer?

We want to do a full on holiday in an RV so were really hoping to stay for 12 – 18 months, is this possible?

Its for 2 adults and 5 kids.

    Thanks
    🙂
If i can only get a visa for 6 months am i able to fly back to australia at the end of the 6 months and then fly straight back over to continue our trip[ on a new visa?

This was posted by Leaving#1 in another question about the bailouts:

This is a scare tactic to get the American public to part with their Grandchildren’s money. This money will first be skimmed just like Iraq; currently $35 billion missing, MISSING not spent just gone. There is no judicial review or oversight?
Second the money which is on loan so the debt will be far greater than the principle will go into fractional bank reserves which automatically leverage the amount 7 or 9:1 so the banks will have $6 trillion which will then be handed over to the hedge funds who will leverage at 30:1. The system will be swamped in cheap dollars rendering what you have nearly worthless due to the inflationary pressures.
Yes billions will be used for personal and egregious expenses while you, your children and every worker in America pays the tab.
We can’t feed and clothe all of America’s children, but we can afford $60 billion to bail out Bear Stearns.

We can’t provide decent medical care to America’s seniors, but we can give $85 billion to AIG insurance.

We can’t lift one finger to help out Americans losing their homes, but we can hand over up to $1 trillion to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

We haven’t the funds to provide proper care and support to American veterans, but we can afford up to $600 billion to buy pledged Lehman Brothers assets.

We can’t do a thing to stanch to flow of jobs offshore and alleviate the suffering of out-of-work Americans, but we can hand $700 billion over to a guy who, until two years ago, ran the main problem-creating company: Goldman Sachs.

We can’t afford to properly educate our children to fit into a changing America, but we can afford $1 trillion for a war that Cheney and Bush knowingly lied us into.

    THIS IS WRONG!

I still believe that being American is about being Free and Brave and Standing up for the Right thing. Depression let it happen reset the game and let the chips fall where they may. Free from the banks which own just about everything most Americans have, Brave enough to do the Right thing even if it is the hard thing. What happened to you cowards?
TG – doesn’t surprise me that you would jump right on this question. I never mentioned welfare, everyone knows welfare historically has been designed to keep people poor. Education since the beginning of the human race has more or less gaurenteed a person will make more than if they were uneducated.

And for those of you say you’re not responsible for people who made bad desicions — why you insist on saying that everyone who got caught up in this mess is a poor slob who bought a house they couldn’t afford? what about the overweight pig like middle class who sent billions to china through wal-mart and similar companies ? are they not to blame? or how about all the employees of these vandal store front mortgage companies that ripped people off for 8 years?
Everyone is to blame for this mess — and the sad thing is that MANY people predicted that Americans would point the finger at poor American homeowners who would be crushed by inflation when infact CORPORATE WELFARE that was the catalyst for this mess.

TG – Honestly I have to say this, I’m getting tired of you — you obviously have a word a day vocabulary which is obvious when you say ‘you’re missing the fundemental issue’ then give plastic responses that were spoon fed to you.

You honestly sound like a ‘frat bro’ trying to get into a financial debate on wall street 3 months after you graduate from 4 years of drinking and get a hook-up and some securities firm.

Research history, politics , and the financial world before leaving these types of answers, you’ve done it on a few other my questions and you’re really starting to annoy me.
Not Fair- Great answer, will NEVER happen because this country is full of guys like TG who live to ‘be fair’ up until 3 trillion are proposed for the ‘mean green’ to go ‘smoke em’ out’ in some country that hasn’t done a thing.

Then they’re all for throwing money away on bullsh!!t.
