I’m looking for a legitimate finance company who will take my pay check, set up a budget, pays all my bills, and give me an allowance until I can change my spending habits.

I teach “Life Skills and Personal Finance” to high school seniors. I want to come up with a good list of “skills” that I can teach these young men and women before they are off on their own. Some of what we already cover includes:
    ● Banking
    ● Resume & Cover Letters
    ● Basic Budgets
    ● Spreadsheets (Excel)
    ● The Expenses of a Child

What other things can I include? Thanks!

I am looking through old bank statements etc i want to start budgeting our money. i’m finding it difficult to determine how much money to say we make as it changes every pay period… my husband and i have both only been at our jobs for about 4 months so i’m having a hard time finding a common number based on averages. Also for expenses like tenants insurance that we only pay once a year do i include this or not and if so how.. i’m also wondering, because i found a template online, but it wants me to list things like the cash value of my life insurance… how do i find this number out. and why do i need it…. ahhh i need some money help. we are young (20 and 22) but we would like to start saving for a house. my parents were horrible examples of how to budget and spend money wisely… i do not want to follow in their footsteps! thank you in advance for your help!

Is anyone else as crap with money as I am? I get paid my (quite decent) salary and within minutes 3/4 of it is gone on bills. A week later and my account is empty. Every month i’m not paying the full amount to creditors which is starting to get them on my back. I think my problem is that I know the money is in my account and I just have to spend it – I couldn’t even tell you what on!!

I just can’t see a way out of this hole and although i’m living with my ‘rents, we are having constant arguments because i’m not giving them as much as they want.

Anyone know what this is like? Any advice? I’m pretty desperate. Already feeling pretty crap about it – so no horrible comments please 🙂

Is there a site online that offers free financial budgeting and services, such as the ability to speak with a “banker” 24 hrs a day? My husband and I were talking about this last night.

    Thanks!
