I’ve got a claim pending on a single boat insurance plan and am going to renew an insurance policy for any different boat. The renewal asks “It is possible to Claim pending?” and “Provide particulars of previous claims and/or unrepaired damages.” It appears in my experience this really is asking no more than the boat included in this insurance policy. Should i declare the claim related to another boat this is not on this insurance policy?

I was thinking of purchasing a 17 to 24 foot in length crownline boat with a V-8 engine (not sure how big of V-8) and trailer. I have no idea what insurance will run and thought I would ask. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Our boat was stolen this morning from the boat mechanic shop. Our boat insurance covers the boat value but not the items in the boat. Approximate 800-900 bucks worth of stuff. Someone mentioned that my homeowners might cover it because it is personal property. Whatcha think my chances are. Are there any insurance agents out there?

I run a boat rental business. Insurance is roughly $3000 / year so I won’t be going that route. BUT I own the boats outright personally. Can I sell the boats to my Boat Rental LLC and then put liens against them so that if the LLC is sued, the assets are worthless?

I have a CDX901 (nitro). I have a optimax 200 hp and I have a chance to trade for a 275 hp Verado. I know its more horse than the boat calls for but what about the weight? Will this work on my boat? The shaft is the same. I know I’d have to switch steering, ect but wondering if there are any boat mechanics out there that can tell me specifics.

A family member of mine had a reversed vasectomy about 3 years ago.Currently, he and his wife are trying to have a baby, but are having trouble. His doctor informed him that he is healthy and able to reproduce, but his wife is unable to conceive. His insurance company denied them coverage for in vitro because of the reversed vasectomy. His doctor wrote a letter to the insurance company explaining that it was the wife who is having trouble conceiving, but the insurance company still denied them coverage. Does anyone have any advice on how to encourage the insurance company to cover in vitro for them?
