We’re searching to buy a franchise that’s been open for three years. However, the tax statements show a loss of revenue for that first couple of many years of (5000ish) along with a profit this season of 5000. My broker states our owner benefit is going to be 60k/yr+ but it’s showing a loss of revenue simply because they were having to pay business loan to begin the company. I just read relating to this on some CPA sites but i am still just a little mystified. Any experts?

im contemplating investing in real estate, and am doing some research on some creative ways to get financing on a home with little to no risk. All I really want to know, is how much is it going to cost someone approximately to reposess a home if the seller is financing the mortgage and not the bank, and the buyer stops making payments for whatever reason. Whether its a percentage or a flat rate or it depends on several different variables, id appreciate your help.

Has anyone does this before? How complicated is it? I would like to start out small and build a small shopping center (less than 10 stores) and see how that goes. What I would really like is to own several of the stores there as franchises. Say, rent half the space, then the other half I would put in my papa johns, subway, or jimmy johns etc. How difficult is it to deal with the city since I am a newbie? Is there some sort of person or company that I can pay who will handle all the legal stuff with the city, construction team, and architect? I would prefer to just get involved with what I know…the day to day operation of the businesses. Do I really need to get all involved in all the legal junk, planning with the architect, and hiring the construction people too? I’m just one person, so what are some tips that can put less work on me and make this go a whole lot smoother? thanks!

If they are I want to know why they are selling FRANCHISES in Latin America as though they were like McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts? This is a serious question and I have the evidence to prove it. I think something should be done about it. If someone reliable will give me an authoritative answer I will present a formal, written, criminal accusation against the US Embassy. What they are doing is against the commercial laws of the country in which I live.
Please read my question more carefully. I said that they are SELLING the Cultural Centers which are supposedly an official part of the US government and non-profit, as for-profit franchises, as private businesses. No one in our government should be able to sell anything such as this when it is taxpayer funded and being operated as an official part of the US government, and using the name and free advertising that the embassy does for the Cultural Centers. And why would the government of a foreign country complain if they are part of the scam and receiving money from it? Isn’t there anyone out there who isn’t totally ignorant of how this government operates overseas? Are ALL of you Americans so dam(sic) ignorant of your government?

Completely random question. Say someone opened up a restaurant that became popular and turned it into a franchise with several restaurants. As they were growing they caught the interest of a big corporation, maybe a competitor who wanted to control the competition, or anything. If this franchise had a lot of money making potential, does anyone have ANY clue a ballpark of what a big corporation would be willing to pay for the franchise? Please no complete BS answers.
