I have about $700 dollars to invest on a monthly basis. I have been learning about stocks for a few months now but it really takes time to research a company’s finances and track performance. This is time that I just don’t have. Would I consult with an investment banker or someone who does financial planning?

A Country’s big cities are the centers of education, business, finance, transportation, and every thing else that is important to a Country. Why have we in America allowed our cities to become disgraceful slums, filthy, riddled with crime, graffiti, and parasites of society?

Im currently in Pakistan staying for a while but am from NY. I was a sophmore in high school there but over here im in 9th grade in GCSE ( O levels ). I have the choice to stay here till college which I’m going to do in the U.S. So I can either stay and do the remaining 3 years of O levels or go back and do the remaining three years of high school. I’m a freshman in college, hoping to go into finance & math/stats. I’ve been told by certain people that, with this economic recession, perhaps I should consider changing majors. Others still say that in 4 years the economy will be well back on its way again.

I’m not sure if finance still has a promising future. Any thoughts?

every one attands government schools unlike Australias one which is choice and competion based which means lots of people attend private schools? tell me that, if private schools we so great, why fund them and if choice and competion was so great, why don’t we have the best system in the world unlike finland, we should go down the route of everyone attending public schools and have a socialised education system, then we would be number 1? what do you think?
