    We’ve been residing in this apartment let’s focus on more than a year, and today they’re telling us we have to obtain tenants insurance. We must have a minimum of liability, so essentially if our home appliances result in a fire, and burns lower someone’s apartment, we are handled by insurance.

    This just appears like another payment per month we have to pay. When the kids are old they will give all of their salary to those FORCED obligations.

    I personally own the house and not through a corporate entity?

    I have a dwelling policy TDP-1 on my rental. It is written by CYPRESS TEXAS LLOYDS.

    I called the agency who sold me this policy. They said they can bump the current $300,000 liability to $500,000 for additional $500 per year.

    This would certainly help but I want $1 million coverage.

Will i estimate while using depreciated cost for such things as gaming systems, camera’s, i-coffee pods, tv.’s, etc.. how about such things as DVD/game collections?     I currently have an auto insurance policy based on working only 1 mile from home. I am relocating to an apartment which will be 20 miles from work.     I ran a quote for renters insurance thru my bank. They also had a little section where you can build your own quote. One of the catagories I can adjust is the deductible. I went with the lowest amount ($100). Is this ok? My bank had it set to $250. Is there anything wrong with getting the lowest deductible?     i have one cat and they gave me a paper which says i need to show proof of renters insurance with the pet owner rider and when i tried setting it up, the dude said usually it only means dogs….and the apartments know i have a cat and didnt mention anything about it so im confused now. is it only for ppl with dogs?
