I was diagnosed with PTSD a few months ago, but have had the symptoms for years now. Problem is, they’ve gotten severely worse over time, which finally caught the right attention to what was wrong with me. I’ve been trying to get myself back up on my feet by myself..but.. I just keep falling right back down. I need help, I can’t do this on my own anymore…

No, I’m not a veteran from war, although my father is. I’m not sure if that would qualify me to go to a VA for free treatment or discounted treatment. I was taken off of my insurance only two months after my diagnosis, and I won’t be able to get back onto it until January of next year. And, I’m unemployed.. and jobs are very scarce around here..

Does anyone know where I can get help? Online? Or in Florida? Preferably the Southwest side of florida. Maybe there might even be som PTSD free help line that I don’t know about?

I thought they made a new law making texting and driving illegal in Florida, and I’m trying to prove that it is illegal. Is there an official government website that states texting and driving is illegal in Florida?

Federal court suit was brought by the Michigan-based, pro-affirmative action group By Any Means Necessary.
Proposition 209, a ballot measure approved by California voters in 1996, prohibits racial or gender preferences in public contracting, education and employment. Voters in Washington, Michigan and Nebraska have passed laws similar to Proposition 209. A 1996 court order in Texas and a 2000 vote by the Florida Legislature banned the use of race in school admissions in those states.

I just finished reading Donna Brazile’s “Stirring the Pots in American Politics.” The book ends with the infamous 2000 election between George W. Bush and Al Gore.

In the wake of widespread voting irregularities across Florida and in other states, and with Al Gore receiving more popular votes than George W. Bush, why did the Supreme Court stop the recount? In addition, if you’re a Republican, do you agree the recount should have been stopped? Why or why not?

Is this why the republican legislature would want to make it difficult to vote. Early voting days are down from 14 to 8. They know that if Obame takes Florida, then he ce can win presidential race.

Florida really is a Democratic state now.

The grip that Republicans maintain on it by the way that they district it needs to be broken.

But I think it’s pretty evident that the majority of Florida’s population will now vote Democratic.

BTW, Floridians REJECTED a constitutional amendment against Obamacare, for the naysayers.
They also rejected an anti-abortion amendment against public funding for abortions and a “religious freedom” amendment.

“TALLAHASSEE — From judicial activism to Obamacare, a lot of Florida’s conservative heart and soul was on the ballot this year.

The Republican-led Florida Legislature loaded voters down with constitutional amendments to give tax breaks to businesses, impose restrictions on abortions, cap state spending and let tax dollars flow to religious groups.

Voters said no — and the results weren’t even close.”

“17 GOP Representatives to 10 Dem Representatives
And…by your own link…a GOP Legislature.”

    Only because of gerrymandering.
