Learning how to save money and investing is a worthy commitment to have. Money does make the world go around so learning how to control it is a good thing to do. I read the article 40 Money Tips and loved it. I’ve included a few tips here and my take on them. Go check out the article for more.

Frugality isn’t about cutting your spending on everything

It’s about picking what’s important to you and deciding to devote your resources to that. So basically it’s about cutting back in certain areas so you can enjoy other areas of life better.

You don’t have to start big…small steps over a lifetime really add up

Very true. A little bit here and there adds up over time. Put a little bit of your paycheck away every now and then and and before you know it, you’ll have money saved up to put towards something you want.

I am also presently going through the tortuous benefit process, this has been going on for several weeks and i still dont know if i will see any money. I have such trouble organising and motivating myself and sorting my own fianances, feel like i need an accountant, but cant afford it. What can I do, help! Is there any organisation that can help me for free?

Does anyone have budget ideas for those of us who were already on a tight budget before the gas & food prices went up? I don’t go to Starbucks and I don’t get my nails done so the advice columns that talk about packing my lunch to save money don’t apply because I already do that. Has any one in the lower or middle class income level found any great money saving or money earning tips?
