The 21st Century was not only touted as the new era, but now that the first decade of this century has gone, we can see that we are certainly living important changes when it comes to a new approach to some things that were once considered used and discardable.  Yes, if you have heard about reducing, reusing and recycling, then you are already familiar on how used is actually the new brand new in our lives.

Reusing from Ideas to Personal Stuff

Actually reusing is the most practical way to make old things brand new. It could be an idea of the past that worked in print media that today is reused on the web or it could be your old pants transformed into fashionable “new” ragged shorts that you can wear. Just look around in your mind and outside, around your house, to find countless ideas on how to convert old things into new ones because the possibilities are endless and unique as you are.

Recycling Can Make it New Too

Some other good ideas to make new things from used ones come from our actual approach to recycling. The increasing awareness about environmental dangers has proven to be helpful to reduce contaminants by recycling materials that were discardable for a long time. A cardboard box turned into a jewelry case, a paint can transformed into a decorative flower pot, or a disposable plastic bottle used as a lamp shade are just a few of the brand news items to make for yourself.

Brand New Financial Ideas

Similarly, there are old-time money making ideas that can be transformed into brand new ideas. An example of this is direct mail orders that are nowadays online orders to sell things that you can craft from recycled materials. Brand new money making ideas cannot only provide you with extra money, but avoid you falling into the debt trap that payday loans, personal loans and credit cards hide when you are urged to buy or pay for something, or simply get some cash.

Saving Money and Time

“Rebranding” used items and old ideas is a good way to save money and time, because if you want a brand new item, your creativity can reveal to you countless ways to make it from something used that you already have. In the same way, you may find new ways to make your old-time hobby a new one, or that routine activities turn new with a little change.

i’m building a model of the arch of constantine at school for latin. i need to create a small (under 2 feet x 2 feet), accurate model. are there any readily available types of clay or sculptable blocks of foam that i could use? brand names would be great, and where to find the materials. or any personal experience you could share…thanks.

For makeup artists, I know that sometimes money doesn’t mean a good product but I want to know what are the main professionally used brands by makeup artists.

Only reply if you’re a qualified makeup artist, not girls who screw around in their bathroom and think they know everything.

Clothing retailers are trying to use their brand names to market clothing to different age groups. For example, Gap Inc. has had success with Gap Maternity, Gap Kids and Baby Gap. What are the advantages and potential disadvantages of this.
